The Hungarian Society for Plant Biology founded in 1981 currently has more than 100 members who are experts in the fields of biology, agronomy, viticulture, plant pathology and other associated disciplines. The Society aims to encourage and develop all sectors of plant research and education in Hungary, facilitate cooperation between Hungarian research groups, as well as ensure their representation in national and international organizations.
